I have now opened my own blog offering custom blog designs for anyone who is interested. My prices are very affordable .... am really just in it for the fun of it .... but the little bit of pocket change will be nice to replenish my stash!

My cool new blinkie .....

I designed this blinkie for all you scrappers out there that love Uproar as much as I do! Grab it and wear it on your blog with pride!!

Uproar2Scrapmore

Been a busy girl!

For the last two days I have been designing an official blog for Uproar to Scrapmore. Dalena is really happy with what I have done and am glad to be helping her out. You can check out my work here and be sure to sign up as a follower and link to it in your blog roll. I will be staying on board with Dee to keep the blog up to date so any info about what's happening at Uproar will be found on the blog.

I am also in the process of making new blinkies for everyone to show their love for Uproar ...... am just waiting on feedback from Dee on my first draft.

Off now to hopefully complete some of the CC challenges .......... mmmmm scrapping ...... it has been so long!!!

Phew!!! 2 and a half days later ......

.... and I finally finished!! What an effort .... I knew it wouldn't come together in 5 mins but I never thought it would take that long. The first challenge for Deb's Master Blaster is a poppet challenge. The rules: Make a page using poppets (one must be you), use some bright colours, at least 20% of the page must be 3D, a journalling block with journalling to tell the story, use a pin and a paperclip somewhere on the page.

I have used Heidi Grace pp's for my page and lots of bazzil and coredinations scraps. Rainbow is made from gathered ribbons hand stitched in place. The night of our wedding there was a massive thunderstorm and even a blackout, so I have used this challenge to create an event that there are no pictures of ....... noone came outside to see us off ....... although I can't quite imagine why!!????

Finally found some ME time...

This one has been a work in progress for a while now .... it is my entry for the sketch challenge at On the Hop. All that handcutting and stitching took a long time and then to 3D all the flowers onto the page ..... even longer! If you love what you see then please vote for my page over on their blog ...... The Blog Hoppers.

This next one is my DT work for Out Of The Hat. This months challenge was to use paint, something metal and the colours red & purple.

I am currently working on my poppet challenge for Debs Creations Master Blaster Comp. It has taken me the last two days and I am still going ...... am starting to think that I have bitten off more than I can chew but am liking how it is tuning out so will push through!

Catch up .....

Been a bit MIA for the last few days ...... we travelled to the sunshine coast for a friends wedding and stayed the night. It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was such a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This is the card that I made for the happy couple ...... they had a wishing well.

The card is also my entry for Challenge #5 of LSBS 52 pick up. Have a few other things that I have been working on but nothing to share yet. Not a huge amount of time for scrapping lately.

Another one off the list.

My to do list at the moment seems to be getting bigger the more I scrap!! This one is for the week #4 challenge of 52 Pick Up over at LSBS. No sooner than I finished this one the next weeks challenge went up!!

This challenge was to use punches. I used circles (everyone was using flowers) to create the scalloped border and the tab and journal block.

And for my personal challenge, a card from the scraps.

I am a little behind on the card making atm. I think a big card making session may be in order and then after that I will make the card as soon as I finish the layout or at least before I start my next project.

Finished!!

I started this one at the crop night at my LSS last night. I am not sure why I dilly dally arond so much at these things ...... It is such valuable scrapping time and I always seem to waste it!

This page is for the week #3 challenge for 52 Pick Up at LSBS. Challenge was to use paper tearing and rolling technique.

I was syaing goodbye to a friend that had to leave early when I glanced at the MME Just Deamy 2 range and realised that the colours were a perfect match for the Kaiser Waterberry pp's I was using so I grabbed some of the transparancies for my page. I finished it off with lots of handstitching.

Got a bit on my to do list atm, tying up some loose ends from January so that I can fill my schedule with February projects!

On a roll .....

This is my latest creation, it is for a new comp that is being run over at Uproar this week. Basically what happens is that the theme of the next cybercrop will be announced at the current one (which was last weekend) and then members can enter a layout or card that depicts the theme. The winner receives a RAK and the best part is that their layout will be used to advertise the next CC. Their work will displayed on the home page of the forum/store and will also be sent out in the monthly newsletter. It's such a good way to get your name and work out in the scrapping world. My entry is made almost entirely of products from the Basic Grey Bittersweet range. I handcut the large scroll at the bottom from the Cherry Cordial pp and the other elements are chippie. The base is coredinations Chocolate Box CS that I have sanded all over to expose the pink core and I finished off the page with some hand stitched swirls.

Heading off to a crop at my LSS tonight and have lots of ideas so better get cracking and get into the packing! lol :-D
