Cybercrop weekend at Uproar.

It was an awesome weekend with heaps of cool challenges and games. Everyone had sooooo much fun and the quality of work in the gallery is second to none! We went Green and Reduced, Reused and Recycled our hearts out!

This was an inspiration challenge - there was a pic put up by Lisa, and this is what I made from it. It's called Mr Damage and yes that is my DS eating my DST!!

This next layout was for my own challenge which was to use junk mail on your layout. The words "you could be this perfect" were cut from a Home Ice-Cream catalogue. I used my new Coredinations Whitewash CS that I got from Dee on Saturday night. I love it soooooo much!!! The supplier pics are crap!!! it is much nicer in real life! The colours look nothing like the images on their website.

I also threw in this extra challenge for fun. It was an ATC challenge to make one in the Go Green/Recycle theme. It had to have the colour green on it somewhere and be in the theme. I made this cute little froggie ATC ........ the winner of the challenge (voted by poll) wins all of the ATC's entered into the comp!

I have been doing quite a few other things which I hope to catch you all up on soon. I had a lovely weekend, cybercrop on Friday night, Craftfest on Saturday and then cropping at Uproar on Saturday night! I picked up my cuttlebug which I am very excited about. But alas ..... it's monday again ...... so all that means is work, work, work!

Followers where are you??

I have just realised that I lead a completely tragic existence and only have ONE follower. :-(

I have added a pretty little follower section to my sidebar in hopes that a few of you may like to sign up so you can get your pretty little mug shots displayed there. You never know, if I get enough there may even be a little RAK given out!

ScrapEscapes Retreat ....

I was lucky enough to go on my first retreat ever for the weekend just gone. To sum it up ..... I had a blast!! This whole retreat thing is very addictive ..... think they should come with a warning label! How many sleeps till the next one? :-D

My work from the weekend ..... Uproar March sketch challenge:

ScrapEscapes retreat card workshop (the only one I finished - there were 3):

I also started one more layout but ran out of time to finish it. I can highly recomend the retreat experience to anyone if you haven't tried it yet. I stayed up and scrapped for 41 hours straight!! Now that's what you call dedication to the craft!! :-D

First ever ATC's ....

This is my first ever attempt at making ATC's. It's for a swap over at Deb's which is being hosted by Gayatri. The theme was stamping for this round so I have used these cute little flower garden stamps from Pink Persimmon.
It's a little difficult to see from the photo but the flowers are all layered on dimensional foam and the butterfly is also stamped on acetate which I have layered over the stamped image with the wings popped up. The little "If friends were flowers" tab pulls out from a pocket in the centre of the ATC. Hope the people I am swapping with like them!

More pages .....

This one is my DT layout for Out of the Hat. Requirements were ..... yellow, B&W pic and a die cut.

I have used Bazzil embossed dot CS as my base and Cosmo Cricket Snorkel pp's.

These are the last two rounds of Wipeout over at Uproar. This one called for 2 12" strips of pp any width, with hearts, bling and silver.

And this one which I actually had a lot of fun doing required you to make a peek-a-boo window or flap. Also needed stamping, journalling and something that could be purchased from the Uproar shop. The two pics below show the page with the window first closed and then open.

Been spending my time working on something else but I can't share just yet! ;-)

New game of Wipeout!

Round 1 kicked off yesterday meaning that it closes at 1pm today. Challenge was a 12x12 layout, colours of black, brown, white, cream and one other of your choice only, a teddy bear somewhere on the layout. This is what I came up with .... the pic is of Cody when he was just 7 days old!

These are some I forgot to share! Oopps!! This first one was Lisa's blind CC challenge from last weekend.
And this one was my blind CC challenge from the same weekend. I have shared a sneak peak of this one earlier but couldn't post the whole page yet. Papers are Bo Bunny - Sweeie Pie .... so adorable!!
